This is a basic testing site for templates, (x)html, css, etc.
It is used to test changes to sites online without disturbing the original site
and to test template modifications.
Ptah's site is a basic html site with some styles created with Microsoft word. I am currently adding the Press link. The Ptah2 template is derived from Design No. 140, of Advanced Professional Web Design Techniques and Templates (CSS & XHTML) by Clint Eccher; 2007; Charles River Media; Boston MA.
Other pages are open source templates I've found that have interesting designs or interesting design elements. The Burnt, iOrange2b and other templates are available for free download from the OSWD (Open Source Web Design site www.oswd.org). The site has over 2,000 free templates of varying design quality.
Other freely available templates I like, such as Solemnity, Solemnity2, Aqueous, Aqueous Light, The Old Forest, and Typography Paramount are available on the www.sixshootermedia.com/free-templates web page.
